People usually play poker because it is something they enjoy doing! People love it and they have fun playing. Texas hold ‘em is a money game!
The fact is that most people don’t win. If you need to make money you would probably enjoy something that involves far fewer risks. Sometimes there is a player at the table that you think maybe will drive you up a wall.
Sometimes there is a player at the table that you think just might drive you up a wall. Nothing can be more annoying than having to sit next to that person. So, make sure that you are never that person.
Always remember your poker manners. Whatever type of game you are involved in always follow poker etiquette. There are certain rules, but there are also things that may not make sense.
The first rule is not to react while you play cards. Have a stone face when you look at your hand. Do not let anyone read you at all.
Have a stone face when you are looking at your hand. Don’t let anyone read you at all. This will always give you the edge.
There may or may not be technical regulations in place. So think about it for just a minute. People will believe that you’re crazy for beginners if you show your hand, and planned to stay.
You can give a player an advantage over another. Also, you could perhaps ruin a pot for someone. If that happens by a simple accident, better that you’re sorry until the sun rises.
There is other ignorant and evil thing you should never do. One is this, fold your hand, sit back and watch the flop. Discover that you would have had a good hand if you did not fold.
Another ignorant and much unappreciated thing that you should never do is this, fold your hand, sit back and watch the flop. Then you realize that you would have had a good hand if you didn’t fold. So you react so that everyone knows what just happened.
Again, it can potentially destroy a pot by giving some players an advantage. These are only a few rules to follow. At least be humble about what you do and that you do not want your opponents to withdraw the game because they can not play with you.
